Greatwall Tengyi C50 listed & priced in China
The new Greatwall Tengyi has been officially listed at the China car market, the final production version debuted today at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Price starts at 78.000 yuan and ends at 91.800 yuan and that makes it cheap for a whole lotta car.
The C50 first debuted as a concept at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show and was shown in its definite shape at the Chengdu Auto Show. Tengyi is the sub-brand name Greatwall uses for its passenger cars, in English they use ‘Voleex’.
Power comes from Greatwall’s own 1.5 turbo with 134hp and 180nm. Gearbox: 5-speed manual or CVT. Size: 4638/1775/1450, wheelbase is 2700.
A very nice looking car, clean lines but not boring, a bit sporty but not overdone.
