Production China-made Mercedes-Benz GLK has Started

Production of the China-made Mercedes-Benz GLK has started, it is made in Beijing by the Beijing-Benz joint venture, it will be listed early next year. The GLK has one mission: compete with the China-made Audi Q5 that is a big hit on the local market.

Beijing-Benz logo on the right. At launch there will only be one engine; the 3.0 V6 with 245hp, the 1.8 turbo will joint the line-up later. Price is expected to start around 225.000 yuan.
