Spy Shot: facelift for the Volkswagen Lavida in China

The Volkswagen Lavida will get a mid-life facelift, the new car is expected to arrive in May next year. the Lavida is a China-only small sedan made by the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture.

This is the current Lavida. Price starts at 112.800 yuan and ends at 164.800 yuan. Engines: 1.4 or 1.6 TSI, mated to a 5-speed manual or 6-speed DSG. The facelifted car will keep the same engines but will probably get a new 7-speed DSG. Price will remain about the same.
