Spy Shots: new BYD F3 naked in China
This is the very first picture of a very naked new BYD F3 in China. New car shows significant improvement in overall design, especially up front. Much cleaner with sharper lines, a welcome end to the weak Corolla-inspired mess on the old car. The new BYD F3 will debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April.
Engines: there will be a 1.8 mated to a 5-speed manual, a 1.5 turbo mated to a 6-speed manual, a 1.5 turbo mated to a DCT and a 1.5 turbo ‘dual-mode’ hybrid about which BYD still hasn’t released any more information. The current F3 costs between 47.800 yuan and 66.900 yuan. Price for the new car will be about the same.
