New spy shots from the upcoming Chery Riich X3 testing in China. Chery has been working on this new SUV for some two years, it is expected to debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April. The Riich X3 is based on the Chery Tiggo but will be positioned higher with a more luxurious interior and a more sporty image, aimed at young ‘n cool city-folk.
Engines: 1.6 or 1.8. Chery is considering a 2.0 and the supercharged 1.6S. That engine would make sense in a car like the X3 indeed. Transmission: 5-speed manual or CVT, as seen on these latest spy pics. Price will start around 110.000 yuan.
