Youngman-Lotus SUV concept to debut at the Beijing Auto Show

This is the new Youngman-Lotus SUV that will debut at the Beijing Auto Show. It is officially still a concept but it will be listed virtually unchanged on the China car market in the second half of this year, price will start around 150.000 yuan.

Drawing from the patent-application. Power will come from two Mitsubishi-sourced engines: 1.8 and 2.0. Earlier on we heard Youngman was developing its own 1.5 turbo engine but that one seems not ready yet. Platform is a question mark, all today’s Youngman passenger cars are based on Malaysian Protons, from which only the Exora MPV seems big enough to base an SUV on.
