Spy shots of the Skoda Superb Edition V, a China-only special edition to celebrate Skoda’s fifth anniversary in China. The Edition V will be launched later this year and gets some special goodies, such as ‘Edition V’-badges, special chrome trim, a modified grill and sporty 16-inch alloys. How many Skoda will make and for how much is yet unclear.

Skoda Superb Edition V

The Skoda Superb is made in China by the Shanghai-VW joint venture. Available engines, all TSI: 1.4, 1.8 and 2.0. Chinese media say the Edition V will only be available with the 1.4. This seems odd so we don’t believe it, at least not for now. Skoda has become a rather popular brand in China, holding 2% of the passenger car market, Skoda wants to increase its share to 3% in 2015. The Edition V will at least, help a bit.
