A picture has popped up in the Chinese interwebs showing a clay model of a new large-size sedan in a BYD design studio. Chinese media speculate it previews a high-end BYD destined to compete with cars such as the Audi A6, BMW 5 and Mercedes-Benz E.

If and when this big BYD will hit the auto market is yet completely unknown. As for now BYD doesn’t sell a car even remotely comparable to the BMW 3-series so a 5-series competitor seems a step too far, but things might change in the future. The model certainly doesn’t look bad, so let it come for battle… via: iFeng.
