Nissan Sylphy launched on the China auto market
The new Nissan Sylphy has been launched on the Chinese auto market. Price starts at 119.000 yuan and ends at 169.000 yuan. The Nissan Sylphy, known as Sentra in the US, debuted on the Beijing Auto Show in April, it is made in China by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture.
Two engines available: 1.6 with 125hp or a 1.8 with 136hp. Transmission: 5-speed manual or ‘Xtronic’ CVT. Earlier on we heard Nissan is also working on a 1.5 turbo for the Sylphy, when that engine arrives is yet unknown. Size: 4610/1760/1495, wheelbase is 2700. The old Sylphy’s sales were still strong, Nissan has therefore decided to keep it alive as the ‘Sylphy Classic‘.
