Spy Shots: Dongfeng-Nissan Venucia R50 testing in China

New spy shots from the Venucia R50 hatchback testing in China. The R50 will be launched on the Chinese auto market in September, priced between 60.000 and 80.000 yuan. Venucia is a sub-brand from the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture.

Their first car, the Venucia D50, was launched in early May and is based on the Nissan Tiida sedan, the P50 is based on the Nissan Tiida hatchback. Engine is the same in both vehicles: a 1.6 with 115hp and 153nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. Venucia is also working on an electric car based on the Nissan Leaf.
