Patent Applied: BMW 3-series Touring coming to China
BMW has applied for patent for China on the 3-series Touring, meaning it will be launched on the China auto market soon, debut is expected for the Guangzhou Auto Show in December. The 3 Touring will be imported into China, the 3iL sedan is made locally by the Brilliance-BMW joint venture.
According to Chinese media the 5 Touring will follow close behind, likely to be launched early next year. The wagon is suddenly getting very hot in China since auto makers found out wealthy Chinese car buyers are willing to pay a lot for something they see as a ‘lifestyle statement’. Earlier on we met the Volvo V60, Volvo V40, Audi A6 Avant and much more is on the way…
