The new Cadillac ATS will be made in China from late 2013 by the Shanghai-GM joint venture. In the meantime the ATS will be imported into China, its debut will be at the Guangzhou Auto Show in  November. The imported ATS however will be expensive compared to locally made competition such as the Audi A4L, the BMW 3Li and the Mercedes-Benz C-class. The real battle then, will only begin in early 2014.
