Kia K3 hits the Chinese car market

The new Kia K3 has been launched on the Chinese auto market, price starts at 102.800 yuan and ends at 149.800 yuan. The Kia K3 debuted in August on the Chengdu Auto Show, it is made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture.

Power comes from a 143hp 1.8 or from a 125hp 1.6,  mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The Kia K3 partly replaces the old Kia Forte, the cheaper variants of the Forte will continue and the expensive variants will be killed. The Kia K3 shares most of its components with the new Hyundai Elantra Landong that is made in China by the Beijing-Hyundai joint venture.
