Guangzhou Auto will launch a hybrid version of the Trumpchi sedan on the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month. The Trumpchi Hybrid loox the same as the base Trumpchi except for the badges that are painted blue, because blue is green.

The Guangzhou Auto Trumpchi Hybrid will be powered by the 144hp 1.8 mated to an electric motor of yet unknown specifications. The 1.8 is the base engine for the Trumpchi, there is also a 2.0 and there will be a new 1.8 turbo that will be launched in Guangzhou as well.
