Geely Emgrand EX8 SUV will be launched in September 2013
The Geely Emgrand EX8 SUV will finally be launched on the Chinese auto market in September next year, priced from 120.000 to 200.000 yuan. The Emgrand EX8 debuted as a concept back on the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show and was expected to arrive this year but it still didn’t happen yet.
Geely dragged the EX8 to each and every auto show from 2009 up until today. We saw it in different colors and with different wheels, but the overall design didn’t change a bit. The vehicle starts to look outdated now, 2013 is indeed the limit or Geely better start all over. The engine seems outdated too; a 2.4 liter four-cylinder with only 150hp and 210nm, mated to a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, sending power to all four wheels. Size: 4840/1845/1715, wheelbase is 2800.
