New spy shots of the upcoming Chery A4 sedan, formerly known by its code name Chery M16. The Chery A4 will be launched on the Chinese auto market next year, debut is expected for the April 2013 Shanghai Auto Show.

Power will come from a 1.6 with 126hp and 160nm, mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT. Chery is still working on a 1.4 turbo for the A4, but that engine won’t be available at launch. Size: 4650/1820/1480, wheelbase is 2700. Price of the Chery A4 will start around 110.000 yuan.

Large screen is nice, but it sits a bit too deep in the center console. Shiny panels around the air vents very 2009. CVT gearbox here.
