Spy Shots: new mini MPV from Dongfeng
The first pictures from a new mini MPV from Dongfeng, it will be manufactured by Dongfeng Xiaokang, a subsidiary that makes light commercial vehicles. On the pictures only the CDV (Car-based Delivery Vehicle) variant, the passenger variant yet is still hiding… Design very fresh for Dongfeng but Chinese media say the front is too much Volkswagen.
Four conventional doors clearly point at passenger-car origins. The new minivan is aimed squarely at the Wuling Hongguang mini MPV which is also available as CDV. The Dongfeng mini MPV will be powered by 1.3 and 1.5 liter engines, mated to a 5-speed manual. Size: 4365/1720/1770mm, wheelbase is 2725. Price will range from 45.000 yuan to 60.000 yuan.
Warning stripes kinda cool, should be available as an extra.
