Spy Shots: Chery Fulwin 2 Cross will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show

These are the very first renderings, likely leaked from a product presentation, from the new Chery Fulwin 2 Cross that will debut on the Shanghai Auto Show. The Fulwin 2 Cross will be launched on the Chinese car market later this year, based on the recently facelifted Chery Fulwin 2 hatchback. Cross-treatment included the usual black plastic, a low lip under the front bumper which is sure great for off roading, chromed mirrors and a roof rack. … with the current logo on the back. Price of the Chery Fulwin 2 hatchback starts at 53.800 yuan, the Cross will start around 65.000 yuan. Engines will be the same as in the hatch: a 1.5 four-cylinder with 109hp and 140nm, mated to a 5-speed manual. Cross-cars are still extremely popular in China, basically every Chinese brand has at least one in its line-up. The French and the Japanese have a few, the Koreans, Americans and Germans have none, thereby missing a nice market that is much bigger than just a niece.
