New spy shots of the BMW 3 Series GT testing in China, showing an all-naked silver example at a toll gate. The 3 Series GT will be launched on the Chinese car market in mid-June, price will range from 450.000 yuan to 680.000 yuan.

The BMW 3 Series GT will be imported into China, unlike the BMW 3Li sedan that is made in China by the Brilliance-BMW joint venture. The China-bound GT will get the 184hp 320i, the 245hp 328i, and the 306hp 335i. The GT has to attract young buyers who find the sedan too boring and the Coupe too small.

The BMW 5 Series GT is imported into China as well but sales have been slow. Chinese car buyers prefer the locally made BMW 5Li sedan or the imported X5 SUV.
