Venucia e30 EV will hit the China car market in 2015

The Venucia E30 EV will hit the China car market in 2015. The Venucia E30 is based on the Nissan Leaf. Venucia is a sub-brand of the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture, aimed at making cheap cars and cheap electric cars.

The Venucia e30 debuted as the Venucia E-Concept on the 2012 Beijing Auto Show, and changed its name to e30 on the April 2013 Shanghai Auto Show, and that is the name that will be used for the production version. The Nissan Leaf is not sold in China and will not be sold in China, Nissan will focus its EV-efforts for the Chinese market purely on the Venucia brand.
