Spy shots showing the new MK3 Skoda Octavia testing in China. The new Octavia will have its China-debut later this year, likely at the Guangzhou Auto Show in December. The new Octavia arrives very late on the largest car market in the world, the Mk3 was launched in Europe back in December last year.

The Octavia is made in China at the Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture. Price of the current car (pictured) starts at 122.000 yuan and ends at 182.000 yuan. Engines: 1.4 turbo, 1.6, 1.8 turbo and 2.0. The new China-made Skoda Octavia will be powered by a 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI, 1.8 TSI and a hot 2.0 TSI for the Skoda Octavia RS. No diesels. Price-range will be about the same.
