Spy Shots: facelift for the Nissan Sunny in China

Spy shots showing the facelifted Nissan Sunny, it will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in September and it will be launched on the China car market before the end of this year. The facelift includes a new and bigger grille with more chrome, a new bumper with more chrome, a fatter chrome strip at the back and a new rear bumper.

The overall theme indeed is more chrome, in line with current trends on the market moving to ever more of the shiny stuff.

The current Nissan Sunny.

The Sunny is made in China by the Dongfeng-Nissan joint venture. The current Sunny debuted in December 2010. Current price starts at 82.800 yuan and ends at 112.800 yuan. Lone engine is a 1.5 with 111hp, mated to a 5-speed manual. The engine will continue in the facelifted Sunny and price will be about the same.
