Spy Shots: new China-made Honda Accord is Ready for the Chinese car market

New spy shots showing the new China-made Honda Accord, it will debut on the Chengdu Auto Show in September. The Chinese Accord is based on the North American Honda Accord but the grille and bumpers differ. The grille consists of three giant chrome bars catering to the Chinese taste for Bling.

The Honda Accord is made in China by the Guangzhou-Honda joint venture. Price of the current China-made Honda Accord (pictured in red) starts at 189.800 yuan and ends at 236.800 yuan. Engines: 2.0 and 2.4. The new Honda Accord will keep those two engines, and a new 3.0 V6 will be added to the line-up. Top end of the price range will thus move up, likely to some 280.000 yuan.
