China-made Volkswagen Golf 7 is ready for the Chinese auto market

This is the new China-made Volkswagen Golf 7, it will debut on the Guangzhou Auto Show in late November and it will be launched on the Chinese Auto market around the same time. The Volkswagen Golf 7 is made in China by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture. It is manufactured in the existing factory in Changchun and in a brand new factory in Foshan in Guangdong Province. The China-made Volkswagen Golf 7 will be available with a 105hp 1.6, a 131hp 1.4 TSI, a 150hp variant of the 1.4 TSI, and with a 220hp 2.0 TSI for the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

The China-made GTI is a very popular car among the young ‘n sporty, it is by far the most powerful hot hatch for the money on the Chinese auto market. The more powerful and slightly mad Volkswagen Golf R will be imported into China, to keep it exclusive and so Volkswagen can ask a lot of money for it.
