The Peugeot Exalt Concept debuted today on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show. The Peugeot Exalt previews a future full-size coupe-sedan. Peugeot revealed today that the Exalt might turn into a China-only sporty saloon as Peugeot needs a car like that to compete in the sedan-hungry Chinese car market.

Power comes from a 340hp hybrid drivetrain consisting 270hp 1.6 liter turbocharged four-cylinder and a 70hp electric motor. Production in China will most likely happen at the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture. When the eventual production version will hit the road is yet unsure but it won’t be before 2016.
