The Shanghai-Volkswagen joint venture will celebrate its 30th birthday with four ’30 Limited’ special editions based on the Volkswagen Tiguan, Santana, Passat and Touran. Shanghai-Volkswagen started business all the way back in 1984 with the old Santana, which is actually still in production for taxi and fleet companies.

The 30 Limited limited editions come with pearl white paint, sporty alloys, full options, and 30 Limited badges on the front fenders and on the back. The specials will be launched on the China car market in June, priced slightly above the standard variants. The number of available cars is yet unknown but this kind of ‘limited’ editions is usually available for all until the birth-year ends.
