Ford Everest SUV will debut in China on November 13

The production version of the new Ford Everest SUV will debut in China on November 13. The Ford Everest debuted as a concept on the 2014 Beijing Auto Show in April. Mass production at the Jiangling-Ford joint venture will start late this year and launch on the Chinese car market is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.

Price will range from around 300.000 to around 450.000 yuan. The Everest will be the largest SUV in Ford’s China lineup. The Ford Everest will be available with a turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder petrol, a 2.5 liter four-cylinder petrol,  and a turbocharged 2.4 liter four-cylinder diesel.

The Jiangling-Ford joint venture makes the Ford Transit and Ford Transit Classic, and will add the Ford Explorer and the Ford Transit Connect in the near future.
