SUV Crazy: 13 New Compact SUVs From China

There is a new trend on the Chinese car market: cheap but trendy compact SUVs for young first-car buyers, aged 25 to 30, living in the cities and busy at work.

As usual, the locals are the first to move. Almost every Chinese automaker is working on a new compact SUV. Some focus on sporty, some on practical, and some on a bit of added luxury. A few automakers are going even further and are launching complete new brands for the young.

Size of these cars ranges from four to five meters, and price from 70,000 to 130,000 yuan ($10,800 – 23,150). They are all loaded with tech like large touch screens and WiFi hot spots. Here are 13 brand new examples:
