Spy Shots: Facelift For The Ford Mondeo In China

Ford is working on a facelift for the Mondeo in China. It will debut in September on the Chengdu Auto Show and launch on the Chinese car market in October. The facelift includes a new front bumper, new front and tail lights, and most importantly a new grille. The Aston Martin inspired grille of the current car will be replaced by a wider grille with sharper corners.

The current Mondeo (Fusion). Price starts at 179,800 yuan and ends at 265,800 yuan. Engines: 181hp 1.5 turbo, a 203hp 2.0 turbo, and a 242hp 2.0 turbo. All engines will continue in the facelifted car and price range will be about the same. The Ford Mondeo is made in China by Changan-Ford.
