New Spy Shots showing the 2017 Jeep Compass completely naked in China, clearly revealing the Compass name. This is the Chinese version which is made by the Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture. The Compass will debut in December on the Guangzhou Auto Show and launch on the Chinese car market in the first quarter of 2017. The Compass will also be made in Brazil and in India.
The Compass stands on a enlarged variant of the FCA Small-Wide 4×4 platform that also underpins the Jeep Renegade, the Fiat 500X and the Fiat 500L.
In China, it will be available with two four-cylinder petrol engines: a 183hp Chrysler 2.4 and a 160hp 165 Fiat 2.0 turbo. There will be two ‘boxes: a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic.
Trim levels: Sport, Longitude, and Limited. The car on the first two photos is a Limited.
