This is the new Luxgen U5, a compact crossover SUV that will be launched on the Chinese car market in October. It looks very nice with a two-tone color scheme, sharply cut headlights, a big grille, black wheel arches, and oh so trendy roof rails.
Faje air vents in bumpers are fashionable and Luxgen joins the trend. The new Luxgen U5 will be powered by a 1.6 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 124hp and 153nm, mated to a CVT, sending horses to the front wheels. Size: 4395/1763/1594, and wheelbase is 2620.
Earlier spy shot of the interior. Sporty seats, fake carbon fiber panels, and a big 12 inch touch screen.
The Luxgen U5 will be positioned below the Luxgen U6. Price will range from around 80.000 to 120.000 yuan.
Luxgen is a brand from the Taiwanese Yulong Group. Luxgen cars are made in Taiwan by Yulong, and in China by the Dongfeng-Yulong joint venture.
