The new Changan CS75 PLUS started its pre-sale, ranging from 127,900 – 154,900 yuan ($20,200 – $24,500). Compared to the old model, the new one has some variations on exterior and interior and upgraded significantly on configuration and power.

Exterior

The grille is available in two styles with the daring and progressive design: Whale-tail and dot-matrix. The former one seems unique and more recognizable to me. It is derived from the 46.7-degree angle in the Changan logo. The whole shape is like a whale leaping out of the water and plunging back.

In addition, the X-shaped front bumper, and the large openings on both sides, give the new car an aggressive and visually striking appearance.

The LED strip with a folding line, a faux diffuser with F1-style fog lights, and four extra-large exhaust pipe tips, bring a strong visual impact.

Interior

The interior is luxurious and delicate, with classy leather on the seats and dashboard. A dual 12.3-inch LCD large screen with a wrap-around cabin design makes the new car more relaxed and comfortable.

The new car also has atmosphere lighting, voice interaction, L2 level intelligent driver assistance, HUD head-up display, driver facial recognition, and other advanced configurations. Also, it equips with a large sunroof with voice control, which is popular among young consumers.

Power

The new Changan CS75 Plus will be available with two engines: a 1.5 turbo with 138kW (188hp) and 300Nm, a 2.0 turbo with 171kW (233hp) 390Nm. And both engines are mated to an Aisin 8-speed automatic gearbox.
