BYD sold more than 200,000 vehicles in September, up 151.2% from last year

In September 2022, BYD sold 201,259 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 151.2%, according to the carmaker. In particular, 200,973 passenger vehicles (including 7,736 units exported) were sold, a year-on-year increase of 154.3%. This brings BYD’s cumulative vehicle sales volume in 2022 to 1,185,100 units, a year-on-year increase of 161.76%.

Furthermore, BYD produced 204,900 vehicles in September, bringing BYD’s 2022 cumulative vehicle production volume to 1,196,200 units, a year-on-year increase of 159.21%.

BYD Model Sales Performance

BYD’s cumulative new energy vehicle (NEV) sales volume in 2022 reached 1.18 million units, a year-on-year increase of 249.56%. In particular, 106,032 DM models and 94,941 EV models were sold in September.

BYD Han

The BYD Han family sold 31,497 units in September, bringing the cumulative sales volume to over 330,000 units.

BYD Tang

The BYD Tang family sold 15,058 units in September, bringing the cumulative sales volume to over 380,000 units.

BYD song

The BYD Song family sold 46,475 units in September, including 541 units exported, bringing the cumulative sales volume to over 1.34 million units.

The BYD Qin family sold 39,515 units in September, bringing the cumulative sales volume to over 760,000 units.

The BYD Yuan family sold 23,503 units in September, bringing the cumulative sales volume to over 370,000 units.

The BYD Dolphin sold 24,956 units in September, bringing the cumulative sales volume to more than 150,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 731.9%.

The BYD Seal sold 7,473 units in September.

The BYD Destroyer 05 sold 9,101 units in September.
