We will remind you that HiPhi is a high-end car brand under the Human Horizons Company, launched in 2019. Its first model was the HiPhi X luxury CUV. As for the second car, it was the HiPhi Z sedan. These vehicles both are quite expensive, with a starting price of 500,000 yuan (70,700 USD) in China and 105,000 EUR (116,800 USD) in Germany (HiPhi Z starting price).

Recently, HiPhi’s sales were quite low in China, but the company was saved by the huge investment from Saudi Arabia, receiving 5.6 billion USD. Anyway, HiPhi still needs to increase its sales. And the HiPhi Y looks like the brand’s only chance to jump in the mass market segment, increasing volume.
