This is the Geely Boyue L Glory Edition (博越L 荣耀版) compact SUV powered by a 1.5TD engine. Only one version was launched priced at 128,700 yuan (17,800 USD). It is expected to compete with models including Great Wall Motors Haval H6, Chery Tiggo 8, and GAC Trumpchi GS4.
Based on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) platform developed by Geely and Volvo, the Boyue L Glory Edition has a size of 4670/1900/1705mm and a 2777mm wheelbase. In terms of appearance, the tall wheel eyebrow and the suspended roof design are eye-catching. A panoramic sunroof is not absent. The car runs on 235/50R19 tires.
The front face has a large inverted trapezoidal grille. Above the grille is a light strip consisting of 182 LED daytime running lights. The bottom adopts a ventilation mesh design to help with heat dissipation. Furthermore, the rear is sharp and angular with high-mounted brake lights, Y-shaped taillights composed of 290 LED light units, and four exhaust outlets.
The interior remains unchanged compared to the existing models, except for the addition of a “Summer Spring Blue” interior color scheme. There is a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 13.2-inch vertical central control screen with a built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and an operating system called Geely Galaxy OS Air.
Other configurations include 72-color ambient lights, voice recognition, keyless entry, keyless start, and remote start. In addition, Boyue L Glory Edition adopts Geely’s GEEA2.0 electrical architecture and NOA high-end intelligent driving assistance system to realize level 2 advanced driving assist functionalities. The car is also equipped with front and rear radars.
Power comes from a 1.5T four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 133 kW and a peak torque of 290 Nm, mated to a 7-speed DCT. Its comprehensive fuel consumption is 6.8L/100km.
