Yuanhang Auto is a high-end electric vehicle brand in China. Its Y6 all-electric sedan and H8 all-electric SUV will launch in August, which are all based on Yuanhang’s electric BHD (Beyond the Horizon of Drive) platform jointly developed with Bosch and Huawei. Additionally, Alibaba’s AliOS supplies the operating system. The pure electric cruising range of the Y6 is as high as 1,020 km. Both cars can achieve fast charging via an 800V fast-charging platform.

Yuanhang Y6 electric sedan
In terms of power, Yuanhang Y6 offers rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive has a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time of 5.9 seconds and provides two pure electric cruising ranges of 720 km and 810 km. The four-wheel drive can accelerate from 0 – 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and provides three pure electric cruising ranges of 620 km, 720 km, and 1,020 km.
The car measures 5270/2000/1500mm, and the wheelbase is 3130mm. Its pre-sale price range is 329,800 – 529,800 yuan (45,900 – 73,800 USD). In terms of appearance, the shape of the front face is very round with an L-shaped headlight group. The side of the body is designed in a fastback style with frameless doors and pop-out door handles.
Inside, the interior is equipped with a large 17.38-inch vertical central control screen, a full LCD instrument panel, and a two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel.
Yuanhang H8 electric SUV
Yuanhang H8 is positioned as a medium-to-large SUV, measuring 5230/2015/1760mm, and the wheelbase is 3126mm. Its pre-sale price starts from 349,800 yuan (48,700 USD).
The car is available in rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive for consumers to choose from. The rear-wheel drive has a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time of 6.5 seconds and offers two pure electric cruising ranges of 610 km and 700 km. The four-wheel drive has a 0 – 100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds and offers three pure electric cruising ranges of 560 km, 650 km, and 950 km.
The front face adopts a closed grille design along with sharp headlights on both sides. In the rear, the through-type taillight group is also blackened.
The frameless doors and hidden electric door handles are not absent.
The interior design of the Yuanhang H8 is almost the same as that of the Yuanhang Y6. The H8 has a three-row seat design with a 2+2+2 6-seater layout. The car’s AliOS smart cockpit system supplied by Alibaba is equipped with a third-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. The interior is equipped with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, a 17.38-inch central control screen, and a 70-inch AR-HUD (augmented reality head-up display).
