Great Wall Motor launched its 2024 Ora 3 under the Ora brand, also known as the Good Cat, at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, available in five different trims:
- 401km Comfort Trim: 105,800 yuan (14,600 USD)
- 401km Premium Trim: 115,800 yuan (16,000 USD)
- 401km Luxury Trim: 125,800 yuan (17,300 USD)
- 501km Comfort Trim: 125,800 yuan (17,300 USD)
- 501km Luxury Trim: 135,800 yuan (18,700 USD)
As an annual facelift model, the 2024 Ora 3 continues the interior and exterior design of the old model, adds two new exterior colors of Ragdoll White and Smoke Gray, and optimizes several vehicle configurations. For reference, the price range of the old Ora 3 is 129,800 – 165,800 yuan (17,900 – 22,800 USD).
The size remains the same as the old model: 4235/1825/1596 mm, with a 2650 mm wheelbase. The entire series comes standard with blackened rims and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging function.
Furthermore, the cockpit remains unchanged. There is a double-spoke steering wheel, a dual-screen consisting of a 7-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 10.25-inch central control screen, and a wireless charging panel on the center console.
Additionally, the premium trim comes standard with a panoramic sunroof, while the luxury trim comes standard with L2 advanced driving assistance features.
Moreover, the car’s L2 advanced driving assistance functions have also been upgraded to include voice-activated autonomous parking, AI autonomous parking, and mobile phone remote parking. Other functions such as integrated cruise assist and traffic jam assist are available.
Power comes from a single front permanent magnet synchronous motor that outputs a maximum power of 135 kW and a peak torque of 232 Nm. Two cruising ranges are offered: 401 km and 501 km. The battery spec has not been officially revealed at this time.
So far, the Ora 3 has entered markets in Germany, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Thailand, Australia, Brazil, and Mexico. Its cumulative sales have exceeded 220,000 units. In the near future, Great Wall Motor plans to further launch the Ora 3 to 92 more countries across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, North Africa, South Africa, Australia, Eurasia, and ASEAN region.
