In January this year, Jetour launched its JMK sub-brand focusing on custom-made vehicles. On June 23, JMK’s first model, the Jetour Traveller Silver Dragon Wing (银龙之翼) officially started delivery in China. It is priced at 219,900 yuan (30,300 USD) and is limited to 3,000 units. For reference, the starting price of the Jetour Traveller is 139,900 yuan (19,300 USD).

JMK stands for Jetour Makers Kingdom, aiming to be “more fashionable, wilder, and more interesting”. JMK follows a make-to-order production model with an expected delivery time of less than three months. In the future, most new Jetour vehicles are also expected to have the corresponding JMK models. At the same time, the models will also be developed simultaneously during the research and development phase, according to Jetour.

The Traveller Silver Dragon Wing is based on the Jetour Traveller 4WD Crossing Pro+ trim, leveraging the Space Punk design concept, and was launched in January this year. The car has undergone 40 upgrades, including a new front bumper, a through-type light group inside the front grille, and protective covers for the taillights, according to Jetour. The tailgate opens sideways. Additionally, the Jetour brand logo has been moved to the engine cover and a ‘starship silver color film’ has been added to further enhance the visual effect.

Another major upgrade of the Silver Dragon Wing is its anti-skid wheel hub with 255/55 R20 all-terrain off-road tires while the standard Jetour Traveller runs on 255/60 R19 tires. The other notable features are the multi-functional roof platform with a charging point, a foldable ladder, and a customized storage box on both sides.

The Traveller Silver Dragon Wing measures 4782/2036/1960 mm with a 2800 mm wheelbase.

The powertrain consists of a 2.0T engine mated to a 7-speed DCT. The engine (model SQRF4J20) outputs 187 kW (254 hp) and 390 Nm. It is also equipped with the BorgWarner XWD automatic intelligent four-wheel drive system, which can realize automatic rear-wheel torque distribution. Intelligent switching of 6+X driving modes is also supported.

The cockpit maintains a T-shaped layout and is available in two colors: black and brown. In the future, a personalized package will also be offered, including the Silver Dragon Wing theme UI (i.e. themed personality mode) and CarIOT smart ecological system (i.e. satellite box, child safety seat, electric roof tent).

Other configurations include a 15.6-inch central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel, full-speed adaptive cruise, autonomous parking, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, active braking, lane keeping assist, lane centering, tire pressure display, heated steering wheel, front seat heating/ventilation/memory, a 64-inch panoramic sunroof, Sony 12-speaker audio system, and Face ID.
