  • Xiaomi’s fully active suspension
  • Xiaomi quad-motor system
  • A 48V electic mechanical braking system
  • A 48V SbW steering system

A demonstration video showcased the intelligent chassis in action, featuring capabilities like car “dancing,” stationary pivot turns, and compass-style turns, illustrating Xiaomi’s focus on advanced maneuverability and control.

Xiaomi spent three years in chassis research and development. Its system incorporates advanced control algorithms paired with hardware that includes Bosch’s latest DP + ET10 system to balance smart technology with optimized driving performance. Xiaomi aims to bring high-performance capabilities to a broader market.

The seven-strut suspension system provides exceptional stability for the 2.2-ton SU7 Max. The fully active suspension system boasts a lifting force of up to 44,400N, capable of lifting two SU7 Max vehicles.

The new drive system will feature two new motors paired with two V8S motors, each with a maximum power output of 2,054 horsepower.

Xiaomi’s chassis technology features an active suspension system for improved comfort and control. Each wheel is equipped with a 4.6 kW power source, enabling real-time adjustments in damping to reduce body roll during turns, acceleration, and braking. This system incorporates a 48V power structure to support line-controlled braking and steering, which replaces traditional hydraulic and mechanical linkages with software-driven controls. This setup allows for adaptive steering ratios and braking force, which can be adjusted based on driving conditions for enhanced precision.
