The Tiangong 08 showcases Hongqi’s signature split-headlight front fascia with black trim connecting the upper light clusters. Hidden door handles, a red side-flag emblem with integrated side-view cameras, and a full-width taillight design featuring L-shaped elements define its exterior styling.

Built on Hongqi’s Tiangong pure electric platform and Jiuzhang intelligent platform, the SUV supports various vehicle types. It features a low-temperature battery pack retaining 98% capacity at -10℃, charging up to 80% in 5 minutes. Customers can choose single-tone or dual-tone body colors, with tire sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches. Optional features include rooftop lidar, air suspension, and rear privacy glass.

The interior offers a five-seat layout with premium materials such as leather upholstery and wood grain accents. The dashboard integrates a unified digital instrument cluster and multimedia display. Button-operated door mechanisms replace traditional handles, while features like wireless phone charging and a hollowed-out storage area enhance functionality. Additional amenities include a flat-bottom steering wheel, dual-focal AR-HUD, and a Dolby Atmos audio system.

The Tiangong 08 debuts Hongqi’s “SimNav High-Level Intelligent Driving System,” featuring an end-to-end algorithm from DJI Automotive powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Ride SoC with 100 TOPS computational power. The system supports urban NOA and provides intelligent parking assistance.

Powertrain options include a 253 kW single-motor two-wheel drive and a dual-motor all-wheel drive with 202 kW front and 253 kW rear motors, reaching a top speed of 200 km/h. Battery choices comprise ternary lithium and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) packs. The 111 kWh ternary lithium battery provides a range of 730 km (CLTC) for the single-motor variant and 680 km (CLTC) for the dual-motor version. A battery replacement version will also be available, while details on the LFP battery remain undisclosed.
