The Li Auto i8 electric crossover’s interior was exposed in China for the first time. It adopts the brand’s signature design language with a block of two screens. However, the i8 has some unique features worth mentioning.

The Li Auto i8 is the brand’s first electric SUV that will enter the market in July 2025. This EV applied for a sales license in China in April, revealing core specs. However, the car’s interior still was a mystery. On May 8, spy shots of the Li i8’s interior leaked online, breaking covers.

At first sight, the Li i8 simply duplicates the interiors of other Li-branded cars. This vehicle boasts a block made of two 15.7-inch screens in the center console. There is no conventional instrument cluster in the Li i8’s cabin. Instead, it has a head-up display. The gear shifter sits behind the D-shaped steering wheel with a flat bottom.

The center console of the Li Auto i8 adopts two wireless charging pads and a pair of cup holders. There is a spacious compartment under the center console. The distinguishing feature of the new model is A-pillars. They are quite wide, possibly affecting the car’s visibility. There are driver’s monitoring cameras and a speaker integrated into the front pillar.

According to the information from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Li Auto i8 has a six-seat interior with a 2+2+2 layout. It has a curb weight of 2,610 kg.
