Geely has officially unveiled its new flagship, the Geely Galaxy M9, a large six-seater AI-tech SUV, at a global launch event in Milan. Built on the GEA Evo native architecture, the M9 aims to establish a new standard for full-size SUVs by combining new energy technology, artificial intelligence, and oriental luxury.
The M9 boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5205mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1800mm in height. Its design is a fusion of Chinese and global aesthetic influences. The interior prioritises passenger comfort and space, featuring a 3.7-meter effective length and a 1.3-meter height. Key interior highlights include a 30-inch integrated screen, an AI-powered smart cabin, and advanced seating features designed to enhance the passenger experience.
Under the hood, the M9 is equipped with the Thor EM-P super hybrid system, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and offers a maximum range of over 1500 km. The vehicle also features an AI digital chassis tuned by Lotus and the G-pilot(Qianli Haohan 千里浩瀚 in Chinese) H5 intelligent safety driving assistance system, which provides advanced driving capabilities.

The Geely Galaxy M9 is set to be a highly competitive entry in the large SUV market, aligning with Geely’s brand strategy of offering exceptional value. Its design and user experience are tailored for a wide audience, emphasising broad appeal and ease of use. Notably, the reintroduction of classic door handles is a thoughtful touch that will likely be well-received by consumers who prefer hidden designs.
Despite its generous dimensions, comparable to premium models like the AITO M9 and Li Auto L9, the Galaxy M9 is projected to be priced between 200,000 and 300,000 RMB. This aggressive pricing could position it as a “half-price AITO M9,” making it a strong candidate for a best-seller.
