Refreshed IM LS7 debuts with intelligent four-wheel steering system
IM Motors officially launched the refreshed IM LS7, with a limited-time promotional price of 329,900 yuan (46,000 USD). Deliveries for the new model began immediately upon its release.
A standout feature is the Star Fall Ice-Sensing Dome Windshield, boasting the largest visible area in China at 1613mm x 1620mm. This design provides an expansive “ultra-wide view” with a 180° horizontal and 106° vertical field of vision. Manufactured using the same process as domestic large aircraft, the windshield incorporates a triple-silver coating technology, achieving impact resistance nearly four times higher than national standards and blocking 99.99% of UV rays.
The refreshed LS7 is equipped with a high-strength, lightweight all-aluminium chassis, similar to those in premium luxury brands. It features a front double-wishbone and rear multi-link independent suspension system. The vehicle’s advanced chassis hardware includes Continental’s intelligent air suspension, which provides stability and comfort in various road conditions. Furthermore, a complete set of Continental high-performance braking systems, combined with Brembo FNC carbon-nitride brake discs, delivers excellent braking efficiency and significantly enhances driving safety.

IM Motors introduces the Lizard Digital Chassis, which elevates the vehicle’s handling, comfort, and safety. The LS7 is the only model in its class to feature an intelligent four-wheel steering system, allowing a maximum rear-wheel steering angle of 6 degrees in a single direction. This results in a turning radius as low as 5.3 meters, granting the 5-meter-class flagship SUV the stability of a large vehicle and the agility of a smaller one. With this, IM Motors becomes the only brand in the industry to equip all its models with intelligent four-wheel steering.

The refreshed LS7 boasts a flagship body length exceeding 5 meters and a wheelbase over 3 meters. The interior offers a range of comfort features, including heating, ventilation, and massage functions for the seats. It also features four seating modes, including a co-driver zero-gravity mode, front dual “queen” seats, and “large bedroom” and “super large bedroom” modes, catering to diverse travel needs such as family vacations and camping. The vehicle’s quietness is significantly enhanced by 100% double-layer soundproof glass throughout and RNC active cabin noise control.

Regarding intelligence, the refreshed LS7 is equipped with the IM AD 3.0 intelligent assisted driving system, powered by Momenta. Utilising Nvidia Orin X chips and ultra-long-range high-precision LiDAR, the system has achieved nationwide coverage for mapless NOA (Navigate on Autopilot). The new IMOS intelligent cockpit, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, enables the industry-exclusive “Rainy Night Mode 2.0,” which provides real-time road conditions in the blind spots to the left, right, and rear on the driving screen, greatly improving safety during rainy night travel.
