The Geely Galaxy A7 sedan reached Chinese dealers ahead of the sales start. It boasts a 4.9-meter body and the Geely EM-i 2.0 PHEV system for 2,100 km of range. This PHEV will enter the domestic market in Q3 2025 with a starting price of around 100,000 yuan (13,910 USD).
The Geely Galaxy A7 plug-in hybrid sedan was previously known by its codename P181. Geely applied for its sales license on May 23, 2025. Geely Galaxy held the official release ceremony of the A7 sedan on June 19. On June 23, this model reached dealers across China for display.

On June 23, the Geely Galaxy A7 reached dealers across China. These aren’t cars for static displays, not intended to be sold. Vehicles spotted in showrooms are finished in white, black, gray, and blue body colors. The Galaxy A7 follows the brand’s latest design language. It has a light strip that consists of 196 LED elements in the front. This model has a closed front end with a trapeze-shaped active air intake.
The Geely Galaxy A7 equips multi-spoke 19-inch rims, chrome-plated trim around the body, and traditional door handles. The car has a sleek stance with a low beltline. From the back, this PHEV adopts a single taillight unit. This model has a drag coefficient of 0.229 Cd. It is on par with the first-gen Tesla Model 3.
The Interior of the Geely Galaxy A7 at dealers adopts three colors: gray, brown, and white. The car’s center console integrates a 15.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen. A 12.3-inch instrument panel and a gear shifter sit behind the two-spoke steering wheel. The top-trim car has a head-up display with a diameter of 16.6 inches. This model has two 50W wireless phone charging pads and 16 Flyme Sound speakers. Another highlight of the Galaxy A7 is the G-Pilot H3 system.

The Geely Galaxy A7 stands on the Geely Electric Architecture (GEA). Its dimensions are 4918/1905/1495 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,845 mm. For clarity, it is 88 mm longer and 5 mm wider than the BYD Qin L DM-i. The second-row seats of the A7 support a 120-degree recline. It offers a trunk with a capacity of 535 liters.
The Geely Galaxy A7 adopts the “Geely EM-i AI Super Hybrid 2.0” (a marketing name) system. It is a parallel hybrid that comprises a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine for 82 kW (110 hp) and an electric motor for 175 kW (235 hp). It boasts a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 7.1 seconds. The Galaxy A7 adopts two battery options: 8.5 kWh and 18.4 kWh. They provide an electric range of 70 – 150 km under CLTC conditions. The fuel consumption of the A7 is 2.67 L/100 km. The mixed range reaches 2,100 km.
The Geely Galaxy A7 will enter the Chinese market in Q3 this year. Its estimated price range is expected to lie between 100,000 and 150,000 yuan (13,910 – 20,870 USD).
