Dongfeng Nissan has officially unveiled the interior of its Teana HarmonyOS Cockpit, marking a milestone as the world’s first fuel-powered vehicle to integrate Huawei‘s HarmonyOS cockpit system.

The new Teana HarmonyOS Cockpit boasts an interior aesthetic heavily inspired by new energy vehicles, with a 90% soft-touch material coverage throughout the cabin. This is complemented by the integration of Huawei’s HarmonySpace 5 cockpit system and Huawei Sound audio.

At the heart of the intelligent cockpit is a new steering wheel featuring four-way scroll wheels for simplified operation. Drivers will benefit from a 10.25-inch instrument cluster screen and a large 15.6-inch Huawei smart display, powered by HarmonySpace 5. This system offers an AI-level voice assistant with millisecond response times, precise AI-powered smart search voice navigation, and smartphone connectivity.

Physical buttons are retained below the central screen for essential functions. The audio experience is elevated by a 17-speaker Huawei Sound system.

From an exterior perspective, the Teana HarmonyOS Cockpit features a refreshed front fascia, adopting Nissan’s classic V-Motion design language with a blacked-out treatment. New “Cosmic Twin Star” LED headlights seamlessly integrate with the black grille, which features a refreshed pattern of alternating long and short strips, reminiscent of feathers. The headlights offer a maximum illumination distance of 230 meters. The front bumper also features an integrated design, which contributes to reduced wind noise.

The side profile largely retains the design of the current model, with a wheelbase-to-length ratio close to 0.618. The dual waistline design is complemented by front door handles that align with the waistline. The new model is equipped with 19-inch multi-spoke “Diamond Cut Light Blade” wheels. In terms of dimensions, the new Teana measures 4920mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1447mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2825mm.

The rear of the vehicle features a new through-type LED taillight design. The NISSAN logo is centrally illuminated within the taillights, flanked by 11 jewel-like light bodies on each side. The rear bumper also adopts a more integrated design. The new Teana will be available in “Matte Grey” and “Phantom Purple” exterior colours.

Under the hood, the new Teana continues to be powered by the 2.0T VC-Turbo engine, delivering a maximum output of 243 horsepower (179 kilowatts) and a peak torque of 371 Newton-meters. The engine is paired with a CVT, a continuously variable transmission that can simulate 8-speed shifts.
