Zeekr has unveiled the first images of the 2026 Zeekr X, its compact all-electric SUV, ahead of the official launch on November 5 in China, according to Auto-home. The updated model keeps its familiar design but introduces a new matte “Seattle Green” exterior and a more powerful 250 kW rear motor, up from 200 kW in the outgoing version.

The new Zeekr X retains its basic shape and proportions, measuring 4,450 mm in length, 1,836 mm in width, and 1,572 mm in height, with a 2,750 mm wheelbase. The body features a two-tone style, combining matte green paint with a black roof, while other visual details, such as split LED headlights, hidden door handles, frameless doors, and a 1.5 m through-type taillight, remain unchanged. A panoramic sunroof (1.21 m²) remains standard. Wheel options include 18, 19, and 20-inch designs, with multiple brake calliper and rim styles.

Interior photos have not been released, but D-Auto reported that Zeekr has updated materials and trim for 2026. The layout is expected to retain the minimalist design of the outgoing version, featuring a 14.6-inch floating touchscreen that slides 353 mm toward the passenger side, along with a digital instrument cluster, head-up display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip for infotainment.

According to the Chinese regulator, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the 2026 Zeekr X will be available in both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations.

  • RWD: 250 kW (335 hp) rear motor paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery.
  • AWD: 115 kW (154 hp) front + 250 kW (335 hp) rear motors, for a total of 365 kW (489 hp), using a ternary lithium battery.

Both versions have a top speed of 190 kilometres per hour. The current model’s CLTC range reaches up to 560 km, and the 2026 update is expected to improve range through Zeekr’s new “Golden Brick Battery.”

Prices for the current Zeekr X range from 149,000 to 179,000 yuan (20,900–25,100 USD). Zeekr sold 465 units of the model in August 2025, totalling 4,611 units for the year. Key rivals in China’s compact electric SUV market include the Smart #3.
