Chery adds AWD to its Jetour Shanhai T1 PHEV series with 1,500km range and 590hp starting at 22,200 USD
On November 3, Chery launched its Jetour Shanhai T1 AWD trims in China, featuring a total system power of 440 kW (590 hp), torque of 840 Nm, and a comprehensive range of 1,500 km.

The AWD continues the design of the previously launched FWD, and offers five exterior paints: Midnight Black, Green Mountain, Snow Mountain Silver, Glacier White, and Sand Gold.
Dimensionally, the AWD measures 4706/1967/1840 mm (l/w/h), with a wheelbase of 2810 mm, which is 5 mm shorter compared to the two-wheel drive.
Additionally, the minimum ground clearance is 185 mm, approach angle is 28°, departure angle is 29°, wading depth is 600 mm, maximum towing capacity is 1,600 kg, and the panoramic sunroof is 64-inch.


Power comes from Chery’s Kunpeng super-performance electric hybrid C-DM system consisting of a 1.5TD engine and two permanent magnet synchronous motors, mated to a 1-speed DHT. The engine has a maximum power of 115 kW (154 hp) and a peak torque of 220 Nm. The front and rear motor generates 150 kW (201 hp)/310 Nm and 175 kW (235 hp)/310 Nm, respectively.
The 27.2 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery offers a CLTC pure electric range of 147 km. Under a full fuel tank (70 L) and full charge, the comprehensive range is 1,500 km.
Positioned as an off-road SUV, the Jetour Shanhai T1 AWD supports 7+X intelligent driving modes. The official claimed the vehicle will automatically sense road conditions and switch to the most appropriate drive mode with the X mode.

The cockpit layout continues to feature a four-spoke steering wheel, a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel, a 15.6-inch central control screen, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. Physical buttons are present under the central control screen. The center console is equipped with two cupholders, a rotary knob, and a gear lever.
Furthermore, the cockpit AI assistant is powered by DeepSeek’s model.
