The Onvo L90 full-size electric SUV from Nio set a record in China by selling 40,000 units in four months after the launch. This 5.15-meter three-row family BEV with a 900V system starts at just 179,800 yuan (25,450 USD) domestically due to the BaaS plan.

The Onvo L90 was launched in China on July 31, rapidly turning into one of Nio’s bestselling cars. China EV DataTracker indicates that this model sold 33,294 units from August to October 2025. On November 21, Onvo launched the limited edition of the L90, aggressively promoting this SUV. Those actions paid off as the new crossover reached an important milestone in China.

Despite reaching an impressive milestone, the Onvo L90’s sales growth slowed down in China. According to CarNewsChina’s calculation, the company handed over 6,706 units of this SUV to customers from November 1 to December 4. Previously, the Onvo L90’s delivery volume was above 10,000 units for three consecutive months.

The Onvo L90 has a price range of 265,800 – 306,800 yuan (37,630 – 43,430 USD). Chinese customers can reduce the price of the L90 due to the BaaS (Battery as a Service) plan option.
