Updated Xpeng P7+ arrived at dealers ahead of sales start in China

The updated 2026 model year Xpeng P7+ electric liftback arrived at dealers ahead of the sales start in China. It is expected to enter the domestic market on January 8 with BEV and EREV versions available. The P7+ EREV will offer up to 430 km of electric range.

The Xpeng P7+ was initially launched in China on November 7, 2024, with a starting price of 186,800 yuan (26,580 USD). It rapidly became one of the brand’s bestsellers. According to China EV DataTracker, its domestic cumulative deliveries reached 88,115 units as of November 2025.

On December 29, Xpeng announced the 2026 model year P7+. It will enter the market shortly with 104 upgrades on board. This model has already reached dealers across China.

Updated Xpeng P7+ at dealers

The updated Xpeng P7+ liftbacks were seen in front of the brand’s store in China, Yan Zhao Auto reported. These models could be distinguished by a continuous LED running lights strip that crosses the front end. Moreover, the black trim around the headlights and taillights of the 2026 P7+ was removed. It has a chrome-plated front splitter and an active air intake.

Updated Xpeng p7+ became 15 mm longer due to adjusted bumpers

The updated Xpeng P7+ became 15 mm longer than the current model due to slightly reshaped bumpers. Its dimensions are 5071/1937/1512 mm with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. This liftback rides on 20-inch two-tone wheels. Cars spotted at dealers were finished in silver and white shades. However, the updated car will also feature a new Starry Blue color.

The interior of the updated Xpeng P7+ will offer two more color combinations: Soft Purple and Morning Mist Blue. The car’s other upgrades include hidden air vents, an electrically powered glove box, a faux suede wireless charging pad, and a microfiber-covered ceiling. It also has a 256-color ambient lighting and wooden trim with chrome accents.

The 15.6-inch center screen of the Xpeng P7+ remains the same. However, it was upgraded with Apple CarPlay. A 29-inch augmented reality head-up display complemented an 8.8-inch instrument panel. Other notable upgrades are 20 speakers, a zero-gravity passenger seat, soft-close doors, and an active noise cancellation system.

The top-trim level of the updated 2026 model year Xpeng P7+ will feature three Turing AI chips, providing a combined computing power of 2,250 TOPS. It supports NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functions on urban roads and highways due to the usage of the VLA (Vision, Language, Action) model.

The BEV version of the 2026 Xpeng P7+ comes with two powertrain variants. The entry-level model has a 180 kW (241 hp) electric motor, while the more powerful modification has an output of 230 kW (308 hp). Two battery variants are available: 61.7 kWh and 74.9 kWh. The P7+ BEV’s electric range reaches 725 km under CLTC conditions.

The EREV version of the P7+ features an e-motor capable of 180 kW, powered by a 49.2 kWh battery. This sedan can drive up to 430 km on a full charge under CLTC conditions. Thanks to a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, the P7+ can drive up to 1,550 km.
