The updated 2026 model year Xpeng P7+ liftback was launched in China with a starting price of 186,800 yuan (26,700 USD). It is positioned as the global model that will soon enter international markets, including Europe. The EREV variant of the Xpeng P7+ has up to 1,550 km of mixed range.

The 2026 Xpeng P7+ has 104 upgrades on board. The new car can be recognized by a slightly redesigned front end with a single LED running lights strip and chrome-plated trim. The updated Xpeng P7+ became 15 mm longer than the current model due to slightly reshaped bumpers. Its dimensions are 5071/1937/1512 mm with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The P7+ rides on 20-inch wheels.

The updated Xpeng P7+ is positioned as a global model

The car’s interior has hidden air vents, an electrically powered glove box, a faux suede wireless charging pad, and a microfiber-covered ceiling. It also has a 256-color ambient lighting and wooden trim with chrome accents. An 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster sits behind the steering wheel. It is complemented by a 29-inch augmented reality HUD. The P7+ offers 20 speakers and upgraded seats.

The updated liftback could be optionally equipped with the second-generation VLA (Vision Language Action) model that integrates visual perception, language understanding, and action generation with reasoning. Another feature is the AIOS 6.0 cockpit that features a brand-new “Driving Light” design language and interaction improvements with more dynamic animations.

Powertrain and specs

The Xpeng P7+ EREV liftback adopts a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender under the hood for 110 kW (148 hp). It sends power to a 49.2 kWh battery, suitable for 430 km of electric range. This pack powers a single electric motor for 180 kW (241 hp). The mixed range reaches 1,550 km under CLTC conditions. The Xpeng P7+ EREV supports a 5C charging that allows a car to charge 277 km of range in five minutes.

The BEV version of the 2026 Xpeng P7+ comes with two powertrain variants. The entry-level model has a 180 kW (241 hp) electric motor, while the more powerful modification has an output of 230 kW (308 hp). Two battery variants are available: 61.7 kWh and 74.9 kWh. The P7+ BEV’s electric range reaches 725 km under CLTC conditions.

The price range of the Xpeng P7+ lies between 186,800 and 198,800 yuan (26,700 – 28,410 USD). It comes standard with a basic ADAS system powered by two Nvidia Drive Orin chips for 508 TOPS.

However, customers can upgrade to the Ultra SE assisted driving system for 12,000 yuan (1,715 USD). It includes two Xpeng-developed Turing AI chips for 1,500 TOPS. This system supports the second-gen VLA model. Customers can also equip the P7+ with the Ultra ADAS system that boasts three Turing AI chips for 2,250 TOPS. This system costs 20,000 yuan (2,860 USD).
